Privacy Policy
What Project OWL stores, what it never stores, and how long anything is kept.
What we store
Account details only if you choose to create an account: email address, chosen role and approval status. Feedback you submit, and any file you deliberately attach to it. Nothing else about you is collected.
What stays on your device
Check-up answers, safety plans, checklists, challenge progress, language and age-mode preferences are stored in your browser only. They are never uploaded and we cannot read them.
What we never store
We never store a child’s private messages, location history, browsing history, photos, passwords, or covert monitoring data of any kind. Project OWL has no monitoring feature and will not build one.
Analytics
We record anonymous counts of which tools and filters are used, with no identifiers, no cross-site tracking, no advertising and no profiling of children.
Retention
Feedback is kept until reviewed and then removed. Account records are removed on request. Email privacy@owl-protect.uk to request deletion.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold, and complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
