What Project OWL is
A free UK platform that helps children, families, schools and professionals recognise online risks, strengthen digital security, and find the right help when something does not feel right.
What we believe
Prevention beats surveillance. Children stay safer when they can tell an adult, not when they are watched in secret. Every tool here is built to be used openly, together.
What we do not do
We do not investigate, identify alleged offenders, determine guilt, monitor children, or replace the police, social care or a school safeguarding lead.
Welsh roots
Project OWL was built in Wales, and Welsh-language support is a first-class part of the platform rather than an afterthought.
Funding and advertising
No advertising is shown to children. Family information is never sold.
