Bullying & Group-Chat Support
If a chat has turned mean, or you've been left out on purpose, Little OWL has a plan. You did not cause this.
Six steps that actually help
Silence the chat โ don't leave (that erases evidence). Mute or archive so notifications stop hurting in real time.
Screenshot messages, usernames, dates and the chat title. Save to a folder called 'not for now'. Never edit or crop names out.
Block accounts after screenshots are saved. Blocking is a boundary, not a defeat. It's okay to feel wobbly for a day or two.
You don't need the perfect words. Try: 'Something is happening online and I need help thinking about it.' That's enough to start.
Move your body, eat something warm, message one person who likes you as you are. Little OWL calls this 'refeathering'.
In the UK: Report Harmful Content (reportharmfulcontent.com), Childline 0800 1111. In danger now: 999.
Words you can borrow
Copy these. Change a word. Say them out loud once before you send.
โThat wasn't okay and it hurt. I need space from the chat for a bit. I'm not looking for a fight โ I just need you to know.โ
โI don't want you to fix it or take my phone. I want you to sit with me while I show you what happened.โ
โI need to report something that happened online between school students. Can we talk somewhere private?โ
โThis is happening TO me, not because of me. I am allowed to take up space online.โ
